Areas covered

On the 13th of February 2009, the DSA closed the test centre at Haverfordwest. From Monday the 16th February, the only test centres in the area where you can take a practical car test are Pembroke Dock, Cardigan and Carmarthen.

I do not believe in teaching people to only drive test routes. This may get you through the test a couple of weeks sooner, but you will not be able to cope as well in other areas. On that basis, I am not taking people straight to the Pembroke and Pembroke Dock areas as a matter of course. Obviously, before a person's test, I will make sure that they have driven in the test areas on a number of lessons.

Because of this, I have not altered the areas in which I am working. I am still happy to pick up pupils from Milford Haven, Haverfordwest and Pembroke/Pembroke Dock areas. If you are out of these areas, I may be able to help you, so please contact me for a fuller answer.

I am happy to collect you and drop you off from any place within these areas. I would just ask that pupils let me know during their previous lesson if they want to start/finish from somewhere different, as I often plan my diary to stay in one area for the day.
